A transom cap for Sportsman Boats, 34LF, triple configuration. The cap covers and finishes the top edge of the transom and protects it from wear.
Transom caps take foot traffic, line chafe and constant spray. 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which gives it better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion from salt spray than 304 stainless.
