This is a port side switch panel in polished 316 stainless steel. It provides the mounting face for switches and controls at the helm or console.
Switch panels are installed in dashes, consoles and helm stations where they are exposed to spray and frequent handling. 316 stainless resists salt water corrosion better than 304, and the polished finish keeps a clean, consistent look at the helm.
