This is a starboard rear rail in polished 316 stainless steel for the Balise. It provides a hand hold and perimeter rail at the aft starboard side of the deck.
Rear rails are used at the stern for support when moving around the deck and boarding. 316 stainless offers better pitting resistance than 304, and a polished finish keeps a bright surface that is easier to maintain.
