This is an actuated swim platform kit with step, built in 316 stainless steel with 2205 stainless steel gears, revision Delta. The actuated mechanism moves the platform and step into position for boarding and swimming.
Actuated swim platforms are mounted at the transom and spend much of their life wet. 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which gives it better resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion than 304 grades in saltwater. 2205 is a duplex stainless steel with high strength, which suits loaded gear components.
